The most popular turtle nesting locations are:
Tortuguero from mid-July to mid-October
Playa Ostional or Camaronal from May through November. Playa Camaronal was recently closed to the public but you can still visit nearly Playa Corozalito, which is just as good for turtle nesting observation tours.
Las Baulas National Park (Playa Grande) from mid-October to mid-February
