This was one of my favorite hotels of all time. I loved the grounds and our little cabin was so cute. I loved watching the hummingbirds from the restaurant patio.

This may have been our favourite stop of the entire trip. The attention to detail and decor in this hotel is exceptional. From the outside, you might thing it's just a simple cabin but once you enter you can see that from the amenities to the furniture, someone really thought about creating a full experience for guests.
It was also a lovely surprise to learn that they offer complimentary laundry service! After 7 nights on vacation, that was a nice touch.
Service at the front desk and restaurant was great. Food was just OK to good, not great, but the ambiance made up for that. We loved it there, and would 100% stay there in the future!! Oh and also, the snacks they had in the room were incredible!

We loved staying at the Senda Monteverde hotel. Our accommodations were roomy, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, with lots of wildlife transiting the property. The restaurant was very good both for breakfast and dinner. We'd stay there again!

This hotel was incredible!! The staff was wonderful, the food fantastic, the accommodations amazing. We wish we had booked more then 2 nights at this hotel. We look forward to returning to the Senda one day.

We really enjoyed being spoiled in our peaceful little cabana. The nature trails were a bonus, & the staff there was very accommodating! We did long for another restaurant option and chose to walk downtown in the rain.

Senda was phenomenal. Our room was such a delight and the grounds were beautiful, and nicely curated. Restaurant on site is delicious with wonderful service. Close to town, which was nice. The trails on premise as well as the preserve next door are beautiful and expansive. Sitting on the patio and watching the sun go down or listening to the rain was a great way to enjoy the scenery. Can't recommend Senda enough! Shout out to Adán for a really fun cocktail class!

The reception was great. Memo was wonderful. He explained about the facilities The Welcome drinks were nice. The hotel app was great giving us maps to various trails.

We really loved this hotel. Having a separate bedroom, a very nice outdoor sitting area. We loved being able to walk in the national park, right from the property. They were great about cooking vegan for us.

The plantain cooking experience was great. Welcome cocktail was great after so many hours in the car. Hike through reserve was also very interesting. If we had one extra day, we would have liked to spend it here.

One of our favorite places! The hotel setting was gorgeous. All the food delicious! Service exceptional. We loved being able to walk to Aguti Reserve. There was so much wildlife sighting directly from our room. Extra thanks to Rosbin, who assisted us at every meal.

The Senda Hotel was one of our favorites on this trip. Having stayed in other hotels in Monteverde on previous trips, we liked the most. The location is not and convenient but quiet. The grounds are meticulously maintained and there is a nice trail system behind the hotel. Our room was gorgeous! It was simplistic in design but elegant. The staff at this lodge really goes above and beyond and is attentive in every way but at the same time, did not overwhelm us. The restaurant was nice and breakfast was delicious. While we regrettably did not eat lunch or dinner there, we di check out the menu and the prices were far more reasonable than we paid at offsite locations.

The Senda Monteverde was a great hotel for us. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. When we arrived they greeted us with drinks and had our luggage delivered to our room. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and the trails around the nature preserve were quite nice. We really enjoyed just walking around the resort. They also have a very inexpensive shuttle to town ($3 USD) and they helped with making dinner reservations. The breakfast was excellent as was the happy hour snacks and drinks.

The hotel was beautiful! A nice cabin in the woods. The staff was amazing and even tried to help with our spanish. They gave lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. It was raining most of our stay here so we didn't get to see many animals like we hoped. The food wasn't that great and there wasn't too much of a selection like the other two hotels we stayed at.

A truly unique an eco-friendly luxury hotel. Right up my alley. A cabin in the woods feel. This was by far beyond what I could have imagined. Loved that the Aguti forest was right next door to do a night tour and the place was quiet which we loved with not many people. Tatiana at front desk was awesome!

Everyone and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. It was fabulous. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. We loved our accommodations. Screens on the windows in the main room of the bungalow would help prevent bugs from entering.

Amazing hotel. The food was phenomenal!! Staff amazing but we had workers right at our building all day early and late and close to the windows. I had to ask them to leave because it was bothering ournprivacy
And they had been there all day already. Loved the hotel. We saw a pack of coatis!
