There are many beautiful beaches in the Papagayo area including the private beach in front of the resort. It was a good hotel. I disliked the hills and that you couldn’t walk to your room. But there is really nothing they could do about that and the shuttle was always available. Night time activities either lacking or we just didn’t understand when/where they were. We tried to go to Caribbean night and they either cancelled it or we just couldn’t find it. They need to improve the Wi-Fi in the room. We had not internet and could not text or watch movies in the room on our phones.

The staff was amazing and the food was great! They set up our suite for our honeymoon which was so sweet and made us feel special.

The food was terrible, service was spotty, and accommodations were okay, at best.

Certain things were great. Activity staff, the grounds, the transportation around the resort. Other things were only ok, the bar and waiter staff, the food, the room needs serious updating and cleaning.

We did not care for this resort. Food again subpar, we got suckered into a time share thing that took a lot longer and took away from our first full day at resort. Would not stay there again.
