Hotel is big and dated. Rooms have double beds which was hard for our family of four. We are in bar area and the waiter was so friendly!

We only spent a few hours here having to go right to sleep and get up only a few hours later to be at the airport on time.

Clean space, nice staff- a little expensive for this type of hotel.

The hotel restaurant was filthy, my bathroom and carpet in my room was filthy. I found nothing appealing when I took a walk around the area, about a 4 block radius, would have much preferred a nicer hotel and area.

Great location for walking around the city.

It's a typical Holiday Inn but it did the job as we wanted to be in the centre of san Jose.
My only comment would be the breakfast was by far the worst on our trip.

Many large groups so elevator service was chaotic at times and breakfast was crowded. Breakfast staff did an excellent job keeping the flow going. Good location.

the hotel's location was very good, it's in the center of town so very convenient, but the hotel was very crowded, the lobby was full of people all the time, staff looked overwhelmed

we didn't have much time here to experience the hotel or surrounding area but from what we saw we were pleased.

Place was decent for a nights stay. Breakfast was horrible

as we arrived early the hotel service accommodated us with a room. Since we had been in route to Costa Rica and in airports for about 12 hours we were hungry. So I asked it we could get breakfast, staff said NO, Giving that the next day we had an early tour and missed breakfast, i think it should have been given an arriving breakfast. Make our stay a bit more personal. The staff could have looked into our activities for the next few days. Since we actually pay for a breakfast at the hotel and we didnt get it..No big deal now, at the time would have been a great convenience for us.

Staff was 100% helpful.

The location was just what we had hoped for, so we would probably go again unless you could offer a similar location in a hotel with more 'heart.' The desk staff was not overly helpful and one woman was actually rude. No water was offered as an amenity and we actually had to pay for it - the only time in a Costa Rican hotel. The waiter in the restaurant and those in the breakfast room were efficient and friendly. It felt like being in the USA rather than in Costa Rica - a bit hard and less friendly than what we encountered during the rest of our trip.
