Surf classes are big here with two famous surf breaks towards the northern end of the beach for the more experienced, leaving the middle and southern end calmer for beginners. All rooms include kitchens equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, sink, and blender; but the larger suites also have ovens and gas stoves. Children under the age of 5 who sleep in the same bed as an adult are free. Each room also has a flat screen TV, cable TV, Wifi, clock radio, iron and hairdryer.

Oh my god we were in a villa!!! It was amazing and huge and beautiful.

We knew this hotel had limited services - no restaurant or bar - but this was made up for by an excellent location on the beach, and proximity to 2 beach front hotels with restaurants and bars

I really loved this boutique hotel. It was quiet and very family friendly. The beach was warm but the water was very brown and silty (maybe it was just the time of year?). But we loved having breakfast on our balcony each morning and watching the surfers. We loved walking to the town of Tamarindo and eating there. Great food options. A great place to end our vacation.

It was nice, but not as good as the resort. Great location. Clean beach with good waves. Walk to everything in town.

The best place of all . Very homey, right on the beach. Beautiful walk, safe. We saw monkeys, iguanas, parrots. The owner was very nice and gave us good history of the place. Crews are great. Children enjoyed being on their own great neighborhood.
