Today you will go on a guided tour to two farms within villages of the Bri Bri reservation. These are indigenous villages with roots to the original people of Costa Rica. Though time has changed some things, the people of the villages still use many of the old customs and techniques of living in harmony with nature. These customs include the making of chocolate, and use of medicinal plants. You will visit a very unique farm where endangered iguanas are raised and released back into the rain forest. You will next visit a second farm where you will be led on a cacao journey from tree to delicious chocolate which you will sample. Then a beautiful waterfall awaits where you will go to relax and take a swim. Before leaving you will be served a hearty typical lunch. This 6 hour tour includes transportation, bilingual guide, fresh fruit snack, bottled water and lunch.
