Experience the treetops of the rainforest from a different perspective on the Athica Canopy Zipline tour. This fast-paced adventure tour will allow you to soar through the jungle canopy at speeds up to 60 km per hour!
The tour starts off with a transfer from your local area hotel to the park. Your guides will then suit you up with your harness, helmet and safety gear and provide a brief safety lesson.
The Athica Canopy Zipline Park includes approximately 3 km of galvanized stainless steel zipline cables. The cables are hung through the forest treetops between 16 platforms. The 8 ziplines range in distance from 80 – 750 meters with an average height of 38 meters! Several of the platforms are built into enormous trees allowing you to view the forest from an amazing perspective.
Athica also offers a towering 8 meter high Tarzan Swing! Brace yourself for the coolest jungle swing you will ever see. This is not for the faint of heart! Of course, you can skip this portion of the tour and watch the others if you prefer.
This is a fast paced adventure tour which requires some hiking and climbing. It is best suited for children 5 years and older and adults up to 70 years.
After the adventure you will be returned to your local area hotel. In total the tour lasts around 3 hours including transfers, though this is subject to change.

We had a great experience which was enhanced by the fact that my daughter and I were the only tourists who showed up for this activity that morning. Initially, we thought it would be lonely and awkward. However, it turned out to be perfect because we stopped in between the different zip lines to observe wild life, such as toucans. The guides had no reason to rush us and they took their time explaining what we were seeing as there were no other groups after us.

This could not have been more fun. They were very good with our nervous 8 year old son, who quickly realized he wasn't scared and could zipline on his own. Had a blast!

The location was amazing. The staff was very organize. The only complain I would say is that some of the zipline staff were not very pleasant. Not only myself felt that way but other people also made a comment. They would benefit with a training on how to deal with everyday people.

We were outside our comfort zone, but felt totally safe with these fun and knowledgeable guides. We love the history, even they gave us high up in the tree line. We started out cautious and ended up swinging like Tarzan! Lol Our pictures are priceless!

I was hoping for more of a jungle tour that would provide an opportunity for wildlife encounters. This tour felt like it was on a farm. Other than that, it was wonderful and did provide some excellent zip lines.

I expected a longer series of lines. This was only 7.... but the guides were great, and we had them all to ourselves! We were the only ones on that trip.

Wish I had take my own pictures. One of the guides was snapping pictures so I thought we could pick out what we wanted at some point. The only offering was a $25 video of the whole group. I was very disappointed.
