A private tour of Manual Antonio National Park can ensure the maximum experience for you and your family with a professional naturalist guide. You’ll have the undivided attention of a wildlife specialist who will introduce you to many types of tropical plant and animal life that you would likely not find on your own. With a large spotting scope, your guide will provide easy access to wildlife hidden in the treetops and assist with capturing close-up photos using your camera or phone directly through the scope to amaze your friends back home.
Manuel Antonio National Park is the most visited of all the national parks mainly due to its rich abundance of wildlife within a variety of different habitats. Located where the jungle comes right down to the shoreline, the park has well-groomed forest paths plus wooden walkways that take you above the crocodiles living in the mangrove swamp. Mangrove trees play an important role in protecting nurseries of baby fish from larger predators underwater, while above, the dense interlacing network of branches provides a safe nesting site for aquatic birds. Within the forest, it is not unusual to find sleeping or feeding sloth and occasionally families of monkeys may swing through the trees as you traverse the walkways lining two beautiful white sand beaches.
It is important to note that backpacks are checked at the admission gate to ensure no food items are brought in other a reusable water bottle. You will find a food kiosk and several refill stations for recyclable water bottles within the park premises. The park is not open on Tuesdays and there is no re-entry if you should leave and want to come back later the same day. Private tours accommodate 1 to 4 people in your party with no charge for children who are 5 years old or younger.
Note: This tour operator has improved wait conditions at the start of the tour during peak season, although it cannot regulate park administrated delays. Depending on the distance from Manuel Antonio to your lodging, shuttle transportation may take from 15 minutes to an hour and a half. There are changing rooms for those who wish to stay beyond their tour and enjoy a swim while within the park.
According to Manuel Antonio National Park's internal regulations, it is mandatory to provide the following information: full name, date of birth, nationality and valid passport number. Please be sure to provide this information when requesting this service.

The tour was shorter than we would have liked and there were long lines to change into swim suits at the beach so we didn't get to enjoy the beach. Overall though we saw a lot of animals, learned a lot and enjoyed our morning at the Park.

A great park for game viewing with a beautiful beach only accessible with a ticket to the park.
But, it feels crowded with people and the oohs and ahas from all the tour groups detract from what would be a wonderful experience.

Pretty weak tour. Not anyones fault, just this tour was packed with people and who really wants to look through a telescope at a sloth 15 times? Did not enjoy.
