This relaxing half day sailing and snorkeling tour is the perfect way to observe the beautiful Pacific coastline, explore offshore tropical islands and marvel at the variety of underwater marine life. Door to door transportation is included for guests staying in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.
You will arrive at the Quepos Wharf where your guide will greet you and go over the boating safety rules. You will then board either a 49 foot trimaran, named the Lorelei, or a 54 Gulfstar monohull, named the Camaradien. Each of these graceful sailing vessels come fully equipped with everything you need for a fun filled snorkeling adventure.
Once onboard you will be offered tropical drinks, soda, water or beer. You can stand on the bow, roam the boat or lie on the deck soaking in the sun. While the captain works the sails, your well informed guide will be sure to point out all marine sightings which may include: sea turtles, dolphins, migrating whales and sting rays depending on the time of year.
Your guide will also explain the historical significance of various islands you’ll be sailing through, including Isla Verde, an ancient burial ground of the indigenous Quepoa Indians. You may even stop to take a short walk at Playa Puerto Escondido before sailing on to the beautiful beach Bizans.
At Playa Bizans you will be helped into snorkeling gear before magically entering the quiet underwater world where an average of 45 different fish species may be found.
Whether you opt for the morning or sunset cruise, you will enjoy refreshments throughout the day with a fresh gourmet meal onboard before returning to land.

Did not see any sea life. Snorkeling was barely 20 mins. Drinks were watered down. Food was clean but not enough.

My wife got a little seasick so didn't enjoy the boat ride so much, even though she took dramamine before the trip. The water was pretty murky so we couldn't see much when snorkling. But the crew were very good.

We had great fun. The food and drinks were extremely good. The snorkeling was not. However, the swimming was delightful.

A relaxing journey and some good wildlife spotting. A tasty meal on board too. So glad that we were on this smaller boat than on one of the "party boats" that we also saw. The guides made sure that we didn't need to interact with the party boats by arriving at the snorkelling location in good time.

Awesome staff!

The snorkeling experience itself left a little to be desired...it felt a little undersupervised and a bit cumbersome. Other than that, it was great friendly staff and great vibe all around.

My husband loved the captain who also made us a very nice lunch. Time spent looking for whales was fine and beautiful - we saw sea turtles and whales -- , but made the last part too rushed at the end when we went snorkeling with 100 other people at a 400 square foot location. Five boats all being there at the same time was ridiculous. While I was looking forward to the snorkeling the most, it turned out to be least favorite part of the trip. I loved just being in the water and would have loved more time at the location. Impressive that they picked us up and dropped us all off back at our hotels with no problem. All and all one of the many highlights of the trip.
