You’ll leave all your worries behind once you’ve landed and been transported to Playa Jaco, the closest beach from the San Jose International Airport. The all-inclusive Best Western Jaco Beach Resort offers many amenities whether you come as a single person, couple or as a family. It is located near the downtown Jaco nightlife and provides beach access right from the hotel. To add to your fun, we’ve included a Surf Lesson and Canopy Zipline activity for you to enjoy some thrills away from the resort as well.

You’ll be greeted at the airport by a representative of Pacific Trade Winds who will be there to welcome you and get you on your way. You’ll go by private transfer to the Best Western Jaco Beach Resort, an affordable 3-star all-inclusive hotel located in midtown Playa Jaco with hotel beach access. Your stay includes all meals, snacks, and unlimited domestic drinks, both non-alcohol and with alcohol. Some of the onsite amenities include pools for both adults and children, tennis and volleyball courts, a game room, kid’s activities, plus nighttime activities for adults. Day 2 will be a day on your own, so you’ll have time to discover your tropical surroundings and hotel offerings.
On Day 3 you’ll be picked up and taken for a Surf Lesson taught by a professional surf instructor. Known for good surfing, Jaco’s waves are perfect for both beginners and those more experienced. Certain areas of the beach are safer than others for swimming and surfing due to riptides. Imagine the fun learning to surf or how to master a new technique! Day 4 will again allow you to explore the area on your own, walking the beach, enjoying the shopping, or vegging out at your resort. If you would like us to add a tour, we can easily modify your itinerary as all of our vacation packages are fully customizable. Only an hour away is the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park full of tropical animals in their natural habitat. Further down at Uvita, the famous Whale Tail sandbar at Ballena National park attracts visiting whales during certain times of the year.
On Day 5 get ready to make like a monkey as you’ll be zipping down a mountain along cables strung through the jungle canopy overlooking awesome views of the Gulf of Nicoya. Again, you’ll be instructed by professional, bilingual guides who will make learning the ropes a fun experience for all. Day 6 is another free day so that you can enjoy the last full day of your vacation with nothing scheduled. On Day 7 we’ll provide a private transfer back to the San Jose International Airport in plenty of time for your scheduled flight. Our goal is for you to have a relaxed yet fun vacation experience as effortless as possible, enjoying the laid-back tropical pace of Costa Rica.

Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and on to Best Western Jaco Beach Resort (D - AI)
A Pacific Trade Winds representative will be waiting to greet you at the San Jose International Airport. Once you have arrived, a private transfer will take you to Playa Jaco on the Pacific coast where you will stay at the all-inclusive Best Western Jaco Beach Resort.

Day 3: Surf Lesson – Walter Shop (B, L, D - AI)
Time to Hang Ten! You’ll be picked up and taken to a 2-hour surf lesson on the beach taught by a professional instructor. Whether you are a first timer or have lots of experience, the lesson will be catered to your ability. And you can use the surfboard to practice for 24 hours afterward! Have Fun!
