Passion in Paradise Costa Rica Honeymoon Vacation Arriving at the San Jose Airport, you’ll be greeted and taken to a secluded mountain retreat nestled on a hilltop within the Central Highlands area of Costa Rica. Here, totally surrounded by nature, you’ll find hiking trails, a spa, an on-site restaurant serving a fusion of delectable dishes, and a cozy fireplace right in your room. Arising on your first full day, you might enjoy a leisurely breakfast then spend the rest of the day strolling the hotel’s hiking trails and taking in the amazing scenery from your own private porch. Or you may like exploring the premises together, visiting the hummingbird feeding stations and farm area that provides organic fare and fresh milk for the restaurant.

The next day you’ll stroll through a private reserve with a professional naturalist on a guided cloud forest hike offered only to hotel guests. You’ll be looking for rare and beautiful birds such as the resplendent quetzal, plus other resident wildlife including monkeys and sloths. In addition, your guide will be pointing out many species of orchids and other plants unique to this type of environment. You’ll end up at the onsite biological research center to see interesting displays of cloud forest activity.

After discovering Costa Rica’s inner beauty, you’ll be transported to a small beach resort overlooking the Pacific sunsets at Manuel Antonio. Your eco-friendly hillside resort surrounded by rainforest provides the perfect place for relaxing together under the tropical sun. Spa services are available along with a locals’ favorite on-site restaurant and bar. Several white sand beaches studded with twisting palm trees might entice you out of the resort on your first full free day when you and your loved one are on your own. Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and on to San Lorenzo Cloud Forest

Once you arrive at the San Jose International Airport (SJO), you’ll be met by a representative who will provide your transfer to the Villa Blanca Cloud Forest Hotel, located in the countryside near San Ramon.

Day 2: Free Day Villa Blanca (B)

A day for the two of you to relax and explore your exquisite surroundings on your own. Your hotel has forest hiking trails and a small farm you can visit, or just relax in front of the fireplace and out on the patio together. Additional local tours can be added if you wish to customize your itinerary.

Day 3: El Silencio Cloud Forest Guided Hike (B)

A knowledgeable guide will lead you on a leisurely, approximate 2 hour guided hike through a protected cloud forest reserve. This is a private hike only available for hotel guests.

Day 4: San Lorenzo Cloud Forest to Manuel Antonio (B)

Today you’ll be driven through the beautiful interior of Costa Rica over to the beach town of Manuel Antonio on the central Pacific coast. Here you’ll stay at Si Como No Resort and Spa.

Day 5: Free Day Si Como No (B)

Another free day to roam your resort, discover the nearby beaches, and explore your new tropical paradise surroundings. You can easily use the hotel’s shuttle service to access the beaches.

You’re off to a half day cruise along the Pacific coastline to observe marine life, tropical islands, and go snorkeling. Drinks and a meal will be provided onboard.
