Gretchen began planning Costa Rica vacations in 2006 and is the longest-standing employee of PTW. She has traveled around the world but fell in love with Costa Rica and decided to move here shortly after her first visit. After all of these years, Costa Rica remains her favorite place and she is more in love with it than ever! Gretchen has traveled Costa Rica extensively, knows all of the nuances of the various destinations, hotels, and tours, and can masterfully bring them all together in the perfect vacation for anyone she is planning for.

Fun fact about Gretchen: Gretchen became engaged in Costa Rica, was married in CR, partially honeymooned in Costa Rica, and now is a proud mama of her Costa Rican-borne daughter, who is now 13 years old. 

Hobbies: Exploring, hiking, horseback riding, waterfalls

Favorite travel memory: When my husband proposed to me in a shallow cavern behind a huge waterfall in the jungle of Southern Costa Rica. We later rappelled down the waterfall and slept in the same cavern that evening, along with family and friends.
