Our representative will be awaiting your arrival at Liberia Airport. After your meet and greet, a private transfer will be provided to the lively town of La Fortuna at the base of Arenal Volcano. One of the most beautiful places to visit in Costa Rica, the temperate Arenal area offers the best in outdoor activities and volcanic hot springs. Arenal Springs Resort and Spa will be your adventure home base camp. A favorite among guests, this 4-star eco-resort offers onsite hot springs and spectacular views of the volcano. During your next few days in the Arenal rainforest, you will experience exciting adventures including an awesome whitewater rafting tour and an unforgettable canyoning adventure. The thrilling rafting ride down the Rio Balsa will have you shooting over Class II and III rapids. On a different day, you’ll go canyoning in the middle of the jungle rappelling down amazing waterfalls! After each of your adventurous days, you can go back and relax soaking in the resort’s onsite thermal hot springs.

The second part of your trip will be overlooking the endless beauty of the Pacific coast while staying at the all-inclusive Westin Playa Conchal Resort and Spa. This beachfront resort will give you a commanding coastal view where you can while away your time swimming or snorkeling at the beautiful soft shell beach called Playa Conchal. The resort provides a variety of non-motorized water sports equipment for you to enjoy, or you may just like to laze around in a hammock taking in the sun, the shade, and the sound of the surf.

This vacation is intended to provide optimum adventures as well as plenty of ME TIME, giving you time to relax and take advantage of the many amenities the two resorts offer. We also recommend exploring the surrounding areas and discovering the local culture. Of course, we offer plenty of activities within each destination, so if you’d like to add a canopy zipline adventure, surf lessons, or any number of other activities, we’d be happy to customize your trip.

Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and on to Arenal Volcano!

We will meet you at Liberia Airport and then provide a private transfer to Arenal Springs Resort and Spa in La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano). This resort offers complimentary hot springs to guests!

Day 2: Whitewater Rafting Rio Balsa (B, L)

Enjoy a thrilling rafting experience over Class II and III rapids down the Rio Balsa. After your adventure, a hearty meal will be served at a typical Costa Rican farm. Back at the resort be sure to enjoy the onsite hot springs!

Day 3: Canyoning Pure Trek Ultimate Adventure Rappel (B, L)

This awesome tour will allow you to scramble through a rainforest canyon and rappel down the waterfalls! Afterwards, you will be served a hearty typical meal. Then you might like to unwind at the hot springs when you return to the resort!

Day 4: Transfer to Playa Conchal (B, L)

A transfer will be provided to the beachfront Westin Playa Conchal Resort and Spa on the Pacific Ocean in the northwestern province of Guanacaste. During your stay, you’ll enjoy the resort’s all-inclusive plan!

Days 5 & 6: Beach Days (AI)

A couple of easy days are yours to enjoy just relaxing at the Westin and surrounding areas. Whether you want to unwind at the pool lounge, swim up bar, out on the beach, or all three, you are sure to find your inner pura vida! Of course, we offer dozens of activities should you decide to fill your down time days with added adventures!
