When you arrive at Liberia International Airport, in the Pacific northwest, our representative will be there waiting for you. After a quick meet and greet, we’ll provide a private transfer to Costa Rica’s adventure and hot springs capital, the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. This is one of the most scenic rainforests in Costa Rica, so bring your camera! You’ll stay at the Arenal Manoa Hotel and Spa, complete with onsite hot springs, swimming pools, spectacular volcano views, and well-appointed guest bungalows. During the next few days, you’ll soar through the rainforest on an exciting high flying canopy zipline adventure then go whitewater rafting down Rio Balsa’s Class II and III rapids. You’ll still find plenty of ME TIME to relax afterwards back at the four-star resort with both cold and hot spring-fed pools, a swim-up bar, plus a full-service spa. You might like to explore the lively village of nearby La Fortuna offering a variety of restaurants, souvenir shopping, and local art galleries.

After an adventurous stay in the beautiful Arenal area, we’ll provide a transfer to Playa Flamingo over on the Nicoya Peninsula off the northwestern Guanacaste coast. Here, you’ll spend a few days at Jimmy Buffett’s all-inclusive Margaritaville Beach Resort enjoying the many activities of the upscale resort as well as relaxing under the coconut palms. Located across a small street from the beach, Margaritaville lives up to its lyrics as a great place to unwind and relax. You will be staying in one of the Garden Pool Side rooms with tropical decor. Playa Flamingo’s light sand and gentle surf is perfect for long walks, swimming, and boogie boarding. To top it off, you’re sure to catch some amazing Pacific sunsets! You can spend your time exploring the quiet town of Flamingo or choose to add an offshore fishing or diving tour. You could also visit the nearby tourist town of Tamarindo, just 20 minutes away, offering some serious shopping, a variety of specialty restaurants, and beachfront nightlife.

On your seventh day, we’ll provide a private transfer back to the Liberia Airport, according to your personalized flight schedule.

Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and on to Arenal Volcano!

We’ll meet you at the Liberia International Airport then provide a private transfer to the Arenal Manoa Hotel and Spa located in La Fortuna at Arenal Volcano. The hotel offers onsite, natural hot springs fed pools – enjoy!

Day 2: Canopy Zipline – Ecoglide (B)

You’ll go for a thrilling zipline adventure soaring through the rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano. Afterwards, be sure to enjoy the resort’s cold and hot springs fed pools plus swim up bar!

Day 3: Whitewater Rafting Rio Balsa (B, L)

This whitewater rafting adventure is sure to be a highlight of your trip! The tour takes place along the beautiful Rio Balso featuring Class II and III rapids. After rafting, lunch will be provided at a local farm, where you can learn more about Costa Rican culture.

Day 4: Transfer to Flamingo Beach (B, D)

A transfer will be provided to Playa Flamingo, located on the Pacific northwest coast, where you’ll stay at the all-inclusive Margaritaville Beach Resort. Here you can enjoy relaxing in the sun by the pool or beach and taking advantage of the resort’s many amenities. Enjoy the sunsets!

This is your time to kick back and enjoy a couple of unscheduled days unwinding at the quiet beach plus participating in the resort activities. We also recommend the nearby beach town of Tamarindo if you want to find more shopping, restaurants, and an exciting nightlife.
